Gratitude: Day Three

Today I am grateful for forks.

Really, could you imagine your life without forks? Like, have you ever eaten salad with a spoon? Have you ever eaten rice without an utensils?

Sure, forks have been around in some form for centuries – some have even been dated back to around 2400 BC, a quick Wikipedia search tells me – but still. This is a tool that deserves our gratitude.

Really, spoons and knives deserve some gratitude, so let us just take a moment to think about that drawer in our kitchen and where we would be without it.
