Today I am grateful for the iPhone.
It seems absurd that just seven years after this device was introduced it is so prevalent. I remember seeing the first time I held one, it belonged to a classmate in my college newspaper course. I mostly wrote it off as just being another overpriced device that was likely to not exist after a few years. After all, who needs their phone to do more than call people?
Guess who was wrong about that? Now I can barely remember what it was like before I bought my first iPhone, three years ago. It is incredible that in such a short period of time, the world can advance this much, that a device this complex could be so readily available.
