Five Portland Breweries
9) Cascade Brewing
Cascade Brewing specializes in sour beers, and even has some non-wheat beers. I forget what this was, but it was a dark sour, which may be my new favorite type of beer.
10) Base Camp Brewing
Base Camp was a lot of fun. Maybe because it is the only brewery which I bought a full sampler from. The beer on the far right is a s’more stout and it has a marshmallow hanging off it. I do not like s’more’s, but I really dig this stout.
11) Fire on the Mountain
Fire on the mountain has a bit of a fun grunge-y feeling. They are known for their wings – which smell delicious, but I did not try. I had the IPA and it was alright.
12) Migration Brewing
The location was a bit further out. Obviously, the beer was so good that I did not think to take a picture of it until later. One of the better IPA’s I have had on this adventure. Incredibly open space, I could see coming here again with friends.
13) Lucky Labrador
Lucky Lab has an open space and great beer. This IPA had an excellent flavor. I think this location would definitely be near the top of my list of recommendations for anyone who asked.
