A nice hand apple-pie and some delicious Earl Grey tea from Blackbird Bakery on Bainbridge Island

It was perfectly beautiful and sunny when I got into Seattle Sunday afternoon to catch my bus.

I went to a local beerpub, and they had some Russian River Pliny the Elder on tap. They also sell beer by the bottle, and they had this Lagunitas IPA poster on one of their refrigerators.

I got to check out the new-ish Penguin Drop Cap editions, and they are every bit as beautiful as I have heard. Much better binding than the regular Penguin hardcover classics. My only concern was the interior font feeling a little bit different in each volume.
