Mid-Day Thoughts on Computers

Having a computer is an absolutely wonderful thing. A true privilege. I love the ability to connect to the internet and access all of the knowledge and information that is available. I love sending .gif files to friends and posting updates on Twitter and being able to communicate things on my own channels of communication. I love the ability to connect with others who love the same things but live in different places.

I wonder what it was like to work in a world without computers, to live as an adult in a world without cell phones. I wonder what it was like to hear the click of typewriters and how all of these tasks I do on a computer were done before. I want to experience that.
