Beef Stroganoff

So in order to post regularly and inspired by several conversations I’ve had with friends lately, I’ve decided to start posting some of my favorite recipes. A lot of them are from friends and their families, but some of them are a bit less personal, and still incredibly awesome! This is one of my favorites!

Beef Stroganoff

  • 1 12oz box of pasta (I prefer farfalle (bow ties))
  • 1 medium-large onion (I prefer yellow)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup sour cream

In a pot, set water to boil. Make pasta.

As you set the water to boil for the pasta, cut about half of the onion. You can add garlic too if you want. Put it in a frying pan with the pound of beef and cook until brown. Drain the grease.

Add the cream of mushroom soup. Stir.

When the pasta is ready add the sour cream to the beef-onion-soup mix. Stir.

Yay! You have stroganoff! Put the stroganoff on top of the pasta, add some parmesean cheese and a dash of salt, enjoy!
